2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or access the Website under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian, to place an order. By using the Website, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding transaction under applicable Indian law.

3. Account Registration

If the Website permits account creation, you must provide accurate, current and complete information and keep it updated. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for activity carried out through your account. Notify us promptly at the official contact details if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Products, Pricing & Handloom Characteristics

All prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR). Applicable taxes and the final payable amount will be displayed at checkout.

We make reasonable efforts to display product colours, patterns, dimensions and other details accurately. Because handloom and handcrafted products may have natural variations in shade, weave texture, print alignment, embroidery and finish, minor variations that are inherent to the craft or caused by photography, lighting or screen settings are not by themselves manufacturing defects.

A natural handloom variation does not excuse material damage, a materially incorrect product, missing items, a genuine manufacturing defect, or a product that materially differs from its advertised characteristics.

We may correct typographical, pricing, inventory or product-description errors and will notify the customer before processing an affected order where practicable. We may limit quantities, discontinue products or decline an order where there is a legitimate reason such as stock unavailability, pricing error, payment failure or suspected fraud.

5. Order Placement & Acceptance

Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. An order-received confirmation only confirms receipt of the order; acceptance occurs when the order is accepted for fulfilment and/or dispatched.

We may cancel an order, in whole or in part, for legitimate reasons including stock unavailability, material pricing or listing error, payment failure, inability to verify the order, or suspected fraudulent or abusive activity. Where an accepted prepaid order is cancelled by us, amounts paid for the cancelled portion will be refunded in accordance with applicable law.

6. Payment Terms

Available payment methods will be displayed at checkout and may include UPI, credit/debit cards, net banking, wallets and Cash on Delivery (COD) where enabled.

Online payments are processed by third-party payment service providers. Rani Roopmati does not store full card numbers, CVV or banking credentials on its own servers.

COD may be unavailable for certain products, locations, order values or orders requiring additional verification. Any applicable COD fee or restriction will be displayed at checkout before the order is placed.

If a payment is debited but the order is not successfully created, the amount will be subject to the payment provider/bank’s reversal process. Customers should contact us if the reversal is not received within the provider’s stated timeline.

7. Shipping & Delivery

We offer domestic delivery across India, subject to serviceability of the destination.

Standard shipping is free for orders of ₹1,999 or more. Orders below ₹1,999 carry a standard shipping charge of ₹99 unless a different promotional shipping offer is clearly displayed at checkout.

The standard delivery estimate is 3–7 business days after dispatch, subject to destination, courier serviceability, order volume and circumstances beyond reasonable control. Remote areas and peak periods may require additional time.

Orders are dispatched from our Indore office/dispatch address. Tracking details will be shared where available.

International shipping is not offered at launch.

If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address, refusal to accept delivery, customer unavailability after reasonable delivery attempts, or another customer-caused delivery failure, any eligible refund may be reduced by applicable non-refundable shipping and return-to-origin charges.

Courier delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control are addressed under the Force Majeure clause; however, this does not remove any consumer remedy required by applicable law.

8. Cancellations

An order may be cancelled without cancellation charge before it is handed over to the logistics partner. Cancellation requests should be sent through the official email or WhatsApp/phone channel with the order number.

Once handed to the logistics partner, the order cannot be cancelled as a cancellation request; the customer may use the applicable return/exchange process after delivery.

Custom, made-to-order or altered products cannot be cancelled once production or alteration has begun, except where required by applicable law.

9. Intellectual Property

Website text, graphics, logos, product photography, artisan stories, design elements and other content are owned by Rani Roopmati Handloom & Handicraft or used with permission and are protected under applicable law. No commercial copying, reproduction, redistribution or unauthorised use is permitted without prior written consent.

10. User Conduct

Users must not submit unlawful, defamatory, obscene, fraudulent or infringing content; attempt unauthorised access; interfere with Website operation; introduce malware; use bots or scraping tools without permission; impersonate another person; or misrepresent an affiliation with Rani Roopmati.

We may remove unlawful or infringing user content and restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the Website, customers or our rights, subject to applicable law.

11. Product Reviews & User Content

If you submit a review, photograph or testimonial, you confirm that you have the necessary rights to submit it and that it is not unlawful, misleading or infringing. You grant Rani Roopmati a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and reproduce that content on the Website and Rani Roopmati’s marketing channels for business and promotional purposes, subject to applicable law. You may request withdrawal of future promotional use by contacting us.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Rani Roopmati will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from Website use or an order.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits a statutory consumer right, liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or a remedy available under applicable consumer-protection law.

13. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify Rani Roopmati and its owners/employees against claims, losses or costs arising directly from your unlawful use of the Website, infringement of third-party rights, fraud, or material breach of these Terms.

14. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, civil disturbance, strikes, government restrictions, epidemics, infrastructure failures, or courier/logistics disruptions. This clause does not remove any non-excludable consumer rights.

15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

The laws of India govern these Terms. Subject to mandatory jurisdiction of consumer authorities and courts under applicable law, disputes may be subject to the jurisdiction of competent courts at Indore, Madhya Pradesh.

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our business, Website, or applicable law. The current version will be posted with its updated date. Changes will not retrospectively remove rights that cannot lawfully be removed.
